Thanks - CTD480

I am back again today with another card, no colouring this time, just lots of stamping and die cutting.

The card today was created for the colour challenge at the Color Throwdown. The colour scheme this week is Lilac, Green, Grey and White,  which I though would be perfect for a bouquet of flowers.

I decided to you the Beautiful Blooms stamp and die set from MFT Stamps, which is retired but new to me.  I also looked at my ink pads and went with a combination of Memento Inks and Hero Arts' shadow inks.

Kelly Latevola was the inspiration to try a different way of photographing my cards. (If you click on her name, it will take you to her blog post.) This was the first time and I hoping to improve with time.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: MFT Stamps - Beautiful Blooms
Dies: MFT Stamps - Beautiful Blooms and Blueprints 13
Inks: Hero Arts - Lime Green,  Memento - Lulu Lavender, Sweet Plum and Grape Jelly,  Versafine - Onyx Black
Other: Recollections - 110lb White and Grey card stocks and 65lb Purple card stock,  Foam Tape

Take care and have a wonderful day!

Next To You - MFTWSC372

Hello my friends and welcome back.  It seems like it's been forever since I posted a card.  For the past few weeks I have had tendonitis, which is making it challenging to do any colouring.

The card I did manage to make was for the current sketch challenge at MFT Card Challenges.

The first thing I did was to mask off a section of the card base with painter's tape and then used a couple of Distress Oxide inks to create a background.  I also sprayed the inked with a bit of water and blotted up the excess with a paper towel in order to add some added interest to the background.

I also stamped, cut and coloured a couple of the cute raccoons from the Raving Raccoons stamp set from MFT Stamps, which I popped up on the card base with some foam tape.

I cut a piece of card stock with one of the Slanted Sentiment Strip dies, stamped the sentiment and added it below the raccoons.

A truly clean and simple card.

Below is a list of the products I used.

Stamps: MFT Stamps - Raving Raccoons
Dies: MFT Stamps - Slanted Sentiment Strips
Inks: Simon Says Stamp - Intense Black,  Distress Oxide - Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio,  Versafine - Onyx Black
Copic Markers:  W00, W1, W3, W5, W7, R00, R81, R83, R85, BG11, BG13
Other: Recollections - 110lb White card stock and 65lb Teal card stock,  Sakura - Black Glaze Pen,  Foam Tape

Thank you so much for dropping by and I hope you have a wonderful day! Kathy

Wishing Ewe A Happy Birthday

Hello my friends, I'm am back again to share another card I created using the Ewe and Me Forever stamp set from MFT Stamps.

I created the clouds and hills by using Distress Inks and the Mini Cloud Edges and Drifts & Hills stencils from MFT Stamps.  I then added a fence between the two hills, which I cut from white card stock using the Rolling Hills dies, also from MFT Stamps.  I added all three sheep from the stamp set to the card, popping up the one on the right with foam tape.

I'm pretty happy with how the card turned out and think these sheep are just so adorable.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: MFT Stamps - Ewe and Me Forever
Dies: MFT Stamps - Blueprints 13 and Rolling Hills
Inks: Simon Says Stamp - Intense Black,  Versafine - Onyx Black,  Distress Inks - Tumbled Glass, Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint
